I have always used a painterly perspective to my photographs. My favourite and most influencial artists are the abstract impressionists. It was fun to look/find works in the Madmen series!...anyway, horizon lines provide a unique way of exploring/applying Barnett Newman style work to the composition. Simply rotating and cropping can yield some fun results.The first three are works by Newman, the others when placed in sequence can visually fit in comfortably.
