Music! It's been my life long friend. It's saved me in more ways than many can imagine.

I wrote these lyrics and wanted to have a melody that reflected my feelings. But it was difficult to do so.

I have two versions of this song and this one is the first to be posted and released.

I'm sure you many of you will relate when you read the lyrics.

April is Autism Awareness (acceptance) Month
That being said, Having been Diagnosed Autistic in my adult life at age 47, I wrote the lyrics to this song called Awakened!

The lyrics are about my life and how I spent 47 Years masking to try to fit into a round hole when I'm a Peg that's just not fit the likes of the Neurotypical world.
I'm now going full speed ahead on raising awareness of Autism, But above all, I'm advocating for everyone who's been bullied and continue to be because they are different.
Not only are Autistic people bullied for being different, but so are Trans/Gay/Lesbian, Down syndrome, different races of people in general, People who aren't fitting into the box of physically fit etc.
Enough is enough! I'm on a mission mainly for Autism, But I do know those who have been bullied for being different understand me.
I appreciate those who actually take time to share and ask me questions before judging.

For the country music fans! As I mentioned before, I'm not just a one style drummer!

This is an original song I wrote the lyrics for. Finding the right melody was difficult and I realized that country was the only one that fit so I ran with it.

More musicians will come in to bring it to life even more. This is just one of many 10+ songs I have written lyrics for that I'll have musicians come in to play and sing with.
