Skeena Salmon Hearts Auction - Smithers The Skeena Salmon Arts Show is back with its most expansive show yet, a three venue exhibition and online auction spanning the Skeena Watershed.

August 1 - 29 at the Terrace Art Gallery, Misty Rivers Arts Centre and the Smithers Art Gallery.

The auctions for the Skeena Salmon heARTs Show are now closed. Thank you to all the artists who jumped on board creating amazing works. Thanks to all the folks who placed bids to support the artists and galleries that make northwest BC an even better place to live.

We also want to give a big thank you to the sponsors that supported the show: SkeenaWild Conservation Trust, White Goat Coffee Roasters, Northern Savings Credit Union, Bulkley Valley Credit Union, Steelhead Society of BC - Northern Branch, and The Province of British Columbia.

Finally, a huge thank you to the galleries that worked tirelessly during these challenging times to make the show possible. Salmon return in rhythmic cycles to the place they were conceived. This piece imagines salmon arriving at their inland destination, ready to spawn; their bodies have turned red , faces and are contorted. In the background decaying woody debris feeds nutrients back into the Skeena and provides shelter and shade.
