We would like to ANNOUNCE The Lighthouse Summer Chamber Choir Workshop Saturdays, July 12, 19 & 26 | 3:00–5:00 PM

Step into the intimate world of chamber choral singing this summer! Unlike a large choir where voices blend into a crowd, chamber singing puts every voice front and centre — and that's exactly what makes it so special.

Over three Saturday afternoon sessions, we'll explore repertoire written specifically for smaller ensembles, featuring richer harmonies, greater independence between vocal lines, and a deeper emphasis on listening and musical collaboration. We'll work together on blending, balancing, breathing as one, and discovering the unified sound that makes chamber singing such a uniquely rewarding experience.

This workshop is non-auditioned and open to all singers. To help build a balanced ensemble, participants are asked to indicate their voice part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass) at registration so we can work toward an even distribution of voices.

Come sing, listen, and connect — every voice matters here.

Just a little update for our Lighthouse Community Choir concert this Sunday! 🎶
We’re so excited to share an afternoon of beautiful music with you at St. Paul’s United Church in Sidney on Father’s Day at 3:30 PM.
There are still a few tickets available online, through the St. Paul’s Church office, and at Tanner’s Books on Beacon Avenue in Sidney. However, we are expecting a sell-out crowd, and admission day of will most likely be by ticket holders only.
If you’re thinking of joining us, please purchase your tickets in advance before making the drive out. We’d hate for anyone to miss this special afternoon of music, community, and celebration.
And to make the day even sweeter, we’ll be hosting a Father’s Day barbecue following the concert!

We had our first session of the Spring Season for the Lighthouse Community Choir yesterday and I thank everyone who came to sing! What a beautiful community we have. I am so grateful that we get to gather every Sunday from 4:00-5:30 pm to share song and joy. What a great way to kick off the upcoming week! Thank you to St Paul's United Church, Sidney, BC for bringing song and joy to the heart of the Town of Sidney.
