Want to be part of something amazing this holiday season?
Come audition for Robin Hood!
Peninsula Players is bringing the holiday pantomime Robin Hood to the stage this December. This holiday tradition is the perfect place to shine and make new friends, especially with this incredible creative team guiding the show!
Allan (Director):
Allan grew up in the UK so became a fan of pantomimes at a very early age. After emigrating to Canada and eventually moving to Cordova Bay, he joined Peninsula Players and he has directed a number of pantos, many of which he wrote in collaboration with John Watts. He is also on the PP executive of and is a former president of the group.
Danielle (Music Director):
Danielle completed her music degree in classical voice at Vancouver Community College in 2014. She taught voice and piano lessons for years before becoming a high school science teacher. She is thrilled to return to her musical roots in her first role as Music Director. Since moving back to Victoria in 2017, Danielle has quietly been assimilating into the community theatre scene, primarily as a performer.
Samantha (Choreographer):
Samantha has been training in many styles of dance since the age of three, as well as having choreographed for various theatre companies around Victoria and is thrilled to return to Peninsula Players after choreographing last year's Pantomime, Pinocchio the Panto. Samantha has also been a performer in lots of community theatre productions and thrives when she is onstage - you may have most recently seen her as the Guest Artist with Peninsula Singers or as Pinocchio in last year's Pantomime with Peninsula Players! When choreographing and teaching, she brings passion, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit to every production. Samantha believes everyone is a dancer and that practice makes every step possible.
