I’m 35. Here’s what I’ve built:

• 10 years as a professional tattoo artist

• Built Jeremiah Hoeft | Victoria Tattoo Artist to 11K followers with 2,200+ posts of my work

• Built a portfolio around custom Japanese, neotraditional and illustrative tattooing, including large scale work

• Learned how to use ads and systems to stay consistently booked without having to rely on posting and praying

• Worked my way through years of tattoo related neck, chest, hip and back pain, and learned how to manage those issues without constantly relying on physio or massage appointments

• Spent years learning the marketing and booking side of tattooing alongside the craft itself

I used to post my work and hope the right clients would see it.

Sometimes they did. Most of the time they didn’t.

I’d get a few bookings, then it would dry up. I’d scramble to fill my calendar, take projects I didn’t really want, and stress about whether next month would be slow.

Then I figured out how to actually control it: how to get my work in front of people who want it, how to handle those conversations so they actually book, and how to keep my calendar full without constantly hustling.

I went from inconsistent bookings to being booked 10+ weeks out consistently.

And once my calendar was full, I could finally start being selective about the work I took on.

Now I’m helping other tattoo artists do the same thing.

Two winters ago I went from working 1-2 days a week to being fully booked 4 months out during the slow Dec/Jan/Feb months.

I’m thinking of helping 5 artists fill their schedules without having to spam instagram or appease the algorithm gods.

Woop woop!

I used to be stuck working 1-2 days a week, sometimes even less during winter, barely scraping by while other artists were still going strong.

It sucked because I was constantly stressed about paying my bills, having to say no to events and adventures with friends, eat cheaper food, scrimp and save.

But then I figured out how to leverage marketing properly and get my work in front of clients who wanted tattoos from me.

My calendar filled up in just a month.

I’m so grateful to be in this position.
