The Sicamous & District Chamber of Commerce is excited to share an upcoming opportunity for local artists and creative enthusiasts to expand their skills through a unique hands-on workshop hosted by the Eagle Valley Brush and Palette Club with Chamber member Eagle Valley Arts Council.

On Friday, June 19, 2026, acclaimed artist Destanne Norris will lead an immersive four-hour workshop, “Oil Landscape Painting with a Limited Palette,” at the Red Barn Arts Centre in Sicamous.

Join The Eagle Valley Brush and Palette Club for a 4-hour Oil Landscape Painting Workshop with Destanne Norris on Friday, June 19th, 2026 from 10:00am–2:00pm at the Red Barn Arts Centre in Sicamous. This immersive workshop is perfect for beginner to intermediate painters looking to explore oil painting using a limited palette while learning composition, value, color mixing, and painting techniques in a welcoming and supportive environment. You’re warmly invited to join us for Life Drawing at Red Barn Arts Center, presented by Dody’s Art Is for Everyone and facilitated by Sue Miller!

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, all levels are welcome. Come enjoy a relaxed and supportive creative session exploring figure drawing in a welcoming environment.

🗓 Wednesdays-every Wednesday from March 26 through to May 27th.
⏰ 10:00 – 12:00 pm
📍 1226 Riverside Rd, Sicamous

This is a drop-in session with a suggested $10 donation (to help cover model expenses).

Please bring your own art supplies—whatever you prefer to work with, such as pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, pastels, etc.
