Dear Electric Pines family,

This is a hard message to share. Electric Pines Music Festival will be taking a pause for 2026.

After years of building something special together, we’ve learned that we can no longer use the park that has been our home. This decision wasn’t ours, and it hurts deeply. For six years, Saqmaq Park held our music, our memories, and a community that has grown stronger every summer. Though we’ve lost our venue, we haven’t lost us. The festival team is exploring new sites and working toward getting a new site ready for summer 2027.

Electric Pines has always been more than a festival, it’s been a family. From the artists who lit up our stages to every dancer, volunteer, and friend who helped create the magic, we’re so proud of what we’ve built together. We worked hard, booked international headliners and gained national recognition. We look forward to continuing where we left off. We will be dancing together under the stars again soon.

We’re working through the financial recovery from last year’s devastating cancellation by the government enforced woods ban, and we truly appreciate your patience as we finalize the remaining refunds and details about roll over tickets. We will be in touch with those remaining individuals soon. The community has really been amazing throughout this time. We thank Raven Forest Festival for holding a fundraiser at their event and giving us that support. We appreciate this whole festival scene.

We do have an exciting event announcement coming up for May 2nd at the Seahorse in Halifax that you will not want to miss. Keep watching our socials for more information.

We will meet again where the bass is loud, the love is real, and the music brings us together once more.

FATHER FUNK is landing in Halifax for his Funk The System Tour, and we’re bringing the whole community out to for our first gathering of the new year. With his new album and big energy, this will be an event not to miss.

Dear Electric Pines Family,

It is with deep devastation that we must announce the cancellation
of this year’s Electric Pines Music Festival.

Despite our tireless efforts, including exploring more than a dozen
alternate locations, we are unable to secure a safe and compliant
venue under the current Nova Scotia Provincial Woods Ban.
With only 10 days left, there is simply no way forward. We never
could have anticipated these circumstances, but we must respect
provincial laws and support the efforts to keep our communities safe,
specially as wildfires continue, and no rain is in the forecast aside from
the possibility of a hurricane days before our scheduled opening.

We know how much our community was looking forward to coming
together, and we share in your devastation. This festival is more than an
event, it is a family, a tradition, and a place built by the passion and
dedication of so many. Losing it this year is heartbreaking beyond words.

Behind the scenes, we are working on next steps, including ticket
refunds, rescheduling headliners for other shows, and planning
for next year’s festival, which will be bigger and better than ever.
Full details on what is happening next will be shared
within two weeks via our website, social media, and email.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this incredibly
difficult time. Though this year has been lost, the spirit of Electric Pines
lives on, and we will return stronger, with more music, more love,
and more Electric Pines magic.
