🌈 This Week's Creative Wellness Challenge: Go on a Colour Walk
Have you ever noticed how quickly your mind can spiral into overthinking? One minute you're doing fine, and the next you're replaying conversations, worrying about tomorrow, or carrying the weight of things you can't control.
That's where a Colour Walk comes in. A Colour Walk is a simple grounding technique that uses your senses to bring you back to the present moment.
This week, I invite you to take a short walk and choose one colour to focus on. Maybe it's yellow/pink/teal.
As you walk, look for that colour everywhere around you.
Notice flowers, signs, cars, clothing, leaves, buildings, or tiny details you might normally miss.
Snap photos of what you find along the way. The goal isn't to get the perfect picture. The goal is to gently shift your attention away from racing thoughts and back into the world around you.
Walking helps clear the mind.
Noticing helps anchor you in the present. Photography helps you slow down and pay attention. When we engage our senses, we remind our nervous system that we are here, now, in this moment.
✨ Your Challenge:
Choose a colour.
Take a 10-20 minute walk.
Photograph everything you can find in that colour.
Share your favourite photo in the comments.
💗 What colour will you be hunting for this week?
Bonus: Create a photo collage and share it below.
