One of the fun aspects of the 4th Annual Lobster Crawl Makers Market is the blending of different types of Makers - some take part every year, others come some years and not others, and some are first timers for our Market - I love this mix, as it makes a fun shopping experience. You’ve got the Makers you know well and enjoy, those you had an encounter or two with and are excited to see again, and new folks who make it thrilling to see what they have created.

Whimsical by Nature is a new Maker at our Market, and I think you’ll be excited to see what Steve makes! He loves to work with wood, shells and whatever strikes his fancy. His love of life comes through in his whimsical folk art. His nautical and ocean themed works speaks right to the heart of the Nova Scotian. Steve will be bringing a broad selection of his folkart to the Lobster Crawl Makers Market including sea shell soap dishes and ornaments, wood love birds and hearts, whimsical carved birds, and wooden whimsical cell phone stands.

Make plans to be at the 4th Annual Lobster Crawl Makers Market on Saturday, February 7 from 12 noon - 4 p.m. at the RCL #38 Legion in Liverpool to see all 20 fabulous Makers! It’s a must see event taking place during Nova Scotia Lobster Crawl! February is Lobster Crawl, a celebration of all things lobster! Get out and enjoy it!

Over the past few days, I’ve been asked if I have a list of makers who will be at the 4th Annual Lobster Crawl Makers Market on February 7 (noon -4 p.m) … I’m happy to announce that all 20 spots have been filled, and wow! It’s a stellar group! Starting Monday, January 26, look for daily posts featuring the makers, to give you a little taste of what you can expect!

Today we were gifted with a package from dairyairranch, located in Debra’s hometown of Saltsprings, NS.

We had the wildflower honey with our evening tea and it was delicious, with a light sweetness. Fred loves the dog treats a little TOO much: he has spent much of the evening sitting and staring at the dog treat cupboard while whining.

Thank you so much to Hannah and Nick from dairyairranch, and to Nancy and Kevin for driving our package all this way, and for Joe Iacobelis for suggesting it. ♥️ It was beyond thoughtful and generous.
