🥣 THE THIRD EMPTY BOWLS CHARITY EVENT IS COMING UP! 🥣

The Potters of Shelburne are very excited to once again present Empty Bowls, a community fundraiser bringing together local potters, restaurants, and neighbours in support of the Shelburne Loyalist Food Bank.

Here’s how it works: for $30, you choose a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl created and donated by one of our local potters, fill it with delicious gourmet soup made and donated by local restaurants, and then pull up a chair.

One of our favourite parts of Empty Bowls is just that — sitting around the tables together, sharing a bowl of soup, chatting with neighbours and enjoying a little time as a community. And when lunch is over, your handmade bowl goes home with you.

The bowl is yours to keep, but it also serves as a reminder that not everyone in our community has the comfort of a full bowl.

📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026
⏰ 11 am–2 pm
📍 Shelburne Guild Hall
🎟️ Tickets: $30 — CASH ONLY

Tickets are available at Studio 135, Dirt to Dishes, and the Guild Hall Market.

All proceeds go directly to the Loyalist Food Bank.

Please remember: ticket sales are CASH ONLY.

✨LAST Vendor Spotlight… me, Janet from Dirt to Dishes Pottery✨

Over the past few months, we’ve been tucked away in the studio working on a full collection for Bloom in the Barn, and I can’t wait for you guys to come and see it all!

There will be shelves filled with mugs, bowls, plates and platters in those rich, coastal tones I always come back to, deep blues, layered greens, pinks, and glazes that mysteriously move across each piece.

I’ve also been playing a bit. 😊

You’ll find a collection of Atlantic-inspired pieces set on old barn board, a rustic sailboat, laundry floating in the ocean breeze, wall hangings of rustic sailboats made with driftwood, and these crazy things called garden stacks. Stay tuned for a whole post about those, I think you’re going to love them.

If you’ve been here before, you know the feeling of walking into the barn when it’s full. If you haven’t, this is your invitation.

Having the barn open and full of happy people is one my favourite things.

🗓 Sunday, May 3
🕙 10–2
📍 15 Ann Street, Shelburne
$2
I’d really love to see you here.
