🎄✨ SAVE THE DATE — CHRISTMAS IN THE BARN IS BACK! ✨🎄

Okay, okay… I KNOW it’s only September. 😂 But when you have a vendor lineup this good, you need three months just to introduce everybody!

Christmas in the Barn returns for its FOURTH year! What has become a pretty wonderful part of the Christmas season here on the South Shore is back — and I am ridiculously excited about this year’s group of makers. 🤩

Stay tuned for our Vendor Spotlights starting soon!

An historic barn. Exceptional makers. Christmas magic.

*We’d love it if you would follow along on our Christmas in the barn Facebook event page for all the updated information.

What’s On The Shelf Wednesday 💙

“Transitions”

This drippy handbuilt serving bowl is one of those pieces where I just let the glaze do its thing… and I love where it went! Those gorgeous blues run down into the creamy centre, creating that wonderfully unpredictable movement that makes drippy glazes so much fun.

A one-of-a-kind bowl, fresh on the shelf at the Barn. 💙

The Bluenose II is coming tomorrow!

Head down to the harbour to see this beauty, then wander up to the Barn at 15 Ann Street and pick up a little sailboat ornament made with Nova Scotia tartan — a perfect keepsake for the day! ⚓️

THE BLUENOSE II IS COMING TO SHELBURNE!

There’s something pretty special about seeing the Bluenose II sail into Shelburne Harbour — and she’ll be here tomorrow! On Sunday you can go aboard, Monday they will be doing maintenance and leave Tuesday morning.

To mark the occasion, we’ve made these sweet little “Bluenose II” sailboat ornaments as keepsakes. 💙 A little piece of maritime history to take home with you.

Come down to the harbour, take in the sight of the Bluenose II under sail, enjoy beautiful Shelburne — and pop into The Barn while you’re here to pick up a little sailboat of your own.

What’s on the Shelf Wednesday!

A little pastel moment on the mug wall today.

There’s something about these colours together that feels light and happy — almost like the pottery version of a beautiful summer morning.
