The Theatre Of Absurdity

Welcome to the Theatre of Absurdity! We hope you enjoy the show!

Hypernormalization abounds here, in case you didn't know.

The cast members are drunk and the crew is on pills.

The set's full of rot smelling like a landfill.

The building's ablaze, whole place filling with smoke.

We paid a grand apiece for our ticket and we're broke.

Rats are pouring out holes in the walls featuring art we know is satanic.

But we remain seated, filling the rows, and wonder if our popcorn's organic??

No one dares be the one to stand up, to break the spell and yell "Fire!"

Knowing that backlash will be the reponse
"Sit down!"
"Conspiracy!"
"LIAR!!"

So we shuffle our feet and scroll on our phones, behind fake smiles we all hid.

As our ancestors watched us, shaking their heads at the future we left for our kids.
