I know that I did not get to spend a lot of my youth with you, but the time we spent together, and the things you shared with me, have helped get me through some tougher times in my life. I hope you are having a grand party with AnneMarie, and the rest of the family.

Beginning in the 2024–25 school year, boards are able to offer Algonquin as a language of instruction within Ontario’s Indigenous languages curricula (Grades 1–12). Five new secondary course codes (LNGAO, LNGBO, LNGCO, LNGDO, and LNGEO) have been added in OnSIS.

I have a request for my local friends here on FB. A family I know has lost their home due to fire caused by squirrels getting into the electrical of their home. I reached out and this is their current needs request. If you can help with any of the below listed items please let me know. I thankyou in advance for Any assistance you are able to provide. Good evening Danka, it is nice to hear from you and it was very nice meeting you. I am fine for clothing for myself. A friend and a cousin gave me some of their clothing, but I could use some mens size xL to XXL. My husband is disabled since his stroke, so he can only wear elastic waistband pants. My daughter is 13 but a size xL-1x in women. Her shoe size is 10. My mom is a size L in women's. My son is large in men's and size 11. Bedding is Queen, double, and a king bed is possibly being given to me from my cousin. Bigger towels are also a big need if anyone has spares. Curtain rods/ curtains are still needed as well. We have already started picking quite a bit of odds and ends from 2nd hand stores and buy and sells, but definitely those items could still be used and helpful. With the holidays coming, we will need everything, Christmas so if anyone has extra ornaments, a tree, or whatever, and I would happily take it off their hands. thank you for thinking of us.
