Sad 🐻😢 Black bear dies from injuries on Sunshine Coast BC Canada 🇨🇦 Anna Miller. KIND and Respectful ONLY Please! 👇

""The bear was hit on Marine Drive close to Soames Road in Gibsons on Sunday September 14, 2025.

When I went down to the beach, a first nations native man was coming back from the deceased bear and he just did a ceremony for her. Drumming and brushed cedar boughs over her body. I believe that symbolizes a purification, and to help transition her spirit.

When I got to the bear I did my own little ceremony and placed flowers on her body.

The accident was unavoidable - the bear just bolted out and the man couldn’t stop.

After the bear was hit she kept running and smashed through a fence panel, and I guess made her way down to the beach where she died of internal injuries. So so sad.

The man was quite shaken and called RCMP and waited on the side of the road for them to show up.

The RCMP searched the properties, but could not find the bear that evening.""

Over the last 15 years this business has been a great adventure and one of the best experiences ever. Thank you, beautiful people of the Sunshine Coast for all your support over the years.
Most importantly, to all the professional musicians , who have extended so many helping hands to the up and coming, know that you really make a difference in peoples’ lives.
A big hug and thank you to the amazing Nikki Weber who has given the gift of music to so many. Also to Reg & Lynn Dickson and the MusicMakers thank you. To Barry Taylor and Miles Black, keep on drumming & playing the keys. Julie & Val Rutter you are quite the Duo, classically the best of the best! Many more of you are so great. Truly we regard so many of you as friends.
We are excited to be able to have more time to participate or enjoy coming events.
