🥌❤️ 95 YEARS YOUNG AND STILL LOVING THE GAME!
This is one of those stories that reminds me why I love what I do at the Mac!
On October 6th, one of our amazing curlers, 95-year-old Marcel Heroux, stepped onto the ice for his first game of the season!
Marcel, who was skipping his team, shared afterward that it was one of the best games he has played in a long time!
Great shots were made by both teams, plenty of laughs were shared, and most importantly, everyone enjoyed the game we all love. Marcel won the game 11 - 4.
Hearing Marcel talk about how happy and thankful he is to still be curling truly warms my heart.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day challenges that we forget to celebrate the little moments that make it all worthwhile.
THIS is what curling is all about! The friendships, the laughter, the great shots, the memories, and the opportunity to keep doing something you love, no matter your age.
It's a community, a family, and a place where memories continue to be made.
Thank you, Marcel, for sharing your excitement and positivity. At 95 years young, you are an inspiration to all of us!
