Important update!
We’re very happy for Julia McLellan who has joined the cast of SIX Broadway! This unfortunately means that she cannot teach at Find Your Light this November, which she was truly excited about and is disappointed about the conflict. Rest assured that she’ll be at a future event!

In her place we’re very excited to announce Mariah Campos, who coincidentally understudied the role of Anne Hathaway in the Toronto production of &Juliet. She will teach the workshop as it was planned, so nothing needs to be done on your part. If your child or student is signed up for the “Musical Theatre Vocal Technique” singing elective, they will still get that experience, and it will be taught by the fabulous Mariah!

Mariah grew up in Barrie, ON, where her love for the performing arts began at a young age and it quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion. She went on to train at Sheridan College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance. Selected theatre credits include: Lucy/Anne u/s in &Juliet, Rose in Titaníque (Mirvish Productions), Polly Baker in Crazy For You, Eva Perón in Evita, Sherrie Christian in Rock of Ages, and María Elena in The Buddy Holly Story (Drayton Entertainment). She’s also appeared in Peter’s Final Flight, Lil Red Robin Hood, and A Christmas Carol (Ross Petty Productions), was a Swing in The Music Man at the Stratford Festival and performed in the ensemble and understudied Sherrie in Rock of Ages (Stage West Calgary). On screen, her credits include Cruel Intentions (Amazon), Take Note (Peacock/Family Channel), and Ginny & Georgia (Netflix). Mariah is the proud recipient of the 2023 Terry Doyle Memorial Award (Drayton Entertainment) and the Jean A. Chalmers Training Award (Stratford Festival), recognizing both her talent and commitment to her craft.

Find Your Light: Youth Theatre Experience will return to Toronto, expanding to three days of programming designed to inspire, connect and celebrate Canada's youth theatre community.

We’re HONORED to welcome Liz Botros as the keynote speaker for our closing events! Joining us all the way from the UK, we can’t wait to give her a warm Canadian welcome! Read more about her incredible career below…

Liz Botros currently oversees education and training initiatives, and giving for producer Cameron Mackintosh’s charity, The Mackintosh Foundation, in London, England. There, she works with Mackintosh’s Hamilton (co-produced with Jeffrey Seller), The Phantom of the Opera, Oliver!, and Les Misérables to provide access and opportunities for young people to engage in theatre.

Liz is also a member of the advisory group for Sam Mendes’ Theatre Artist Fund which provided 20 mid-career theatre professionals to receive placements at theatres across the UK and was on the steering committee for the BBC’s “Bring The Drama Festival”, which showcased off-stage and off-screen jobs in entertainment.

Prior to The Mackintosh Foundation, Liz spent nearly two decades working on Broadway, with 10½ years at Disney Theatrical Group where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and engagement management of the national tours of The Lion King, Frozen, Aladdin, Newsies, and Mary Poppins. Additionally, Liz was on the leadership and planning teams for the Disney hosted, industry-wide, annual “Women’s Day On Broadway” events, and the Newsies Film Live Capture from the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Liz was also an active member of The Broadway League as an Industry Specialist.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Liz is an alumnus of The Ohio State University.

We’re thrilled to welcome back the international performing arts adventure specialists at Travel Gang Performance Tours , who will once again hold auditions for an incredible opportunity to represent Canada in the UK in May 2027.
