2026 - the year of changing barrel races!!!
Unfortunately The Merritt races are rescheduled at a different Venue

Aug 24, and Sept 8, are cancelled in Merritt
These two races will be replaced with a Double Header on Sept 6, 2026 at JP Arena - Thanks Jamie Payton and family

Dr. Willow Holmes (Stride Equine) will still be adding $1000 to each race, and there will be draws for scoping still available!!!!

A little info for the Aug 19 race. UPDATED
We will make a decision on Sunday Aug 16 as to whether we will go ahead or not, (smoke willing)
Late entries are without a fee
I am going on a holiday (I know -shocker)
The lovely and very talented Shayle McLeod will be hosting this race

So I know a lot of people are disappointed that the jackpot in Merritt on August 12 was canceled. With all this smoke and all the uncertainty around the wildfires…Stride Equine and Hurricane Productions, felt it was the most responsible thing to do.
These jackpots will be held again in the future. Willow has committed to doing this!

Due to the uncertainty around wildfires, I will be flexible on entry fees.
You can send your fees with your entry
OR
You can wait and pay them by Aug 11 by 6:00 pm

If the jackpot ends up being cancelled/ or you scratch early due to wildfires, I will retain $2.00 to cover e-transfer costs
If you scratch after the draw is posted, you will pay $6.00 office fee (includes the etransfer fee)
