10AM UPDATE

Our PlayZone, Inflatables, ToddlerZone, Ponies, Facepainting and youth volunteer shifts will remain closed. This will be reevaluated early afternoon in hopes that we experience the same changes to air quality as yesterday afternoon.

Our general events (stages and food court) will remain open for the public to participate at their discretion. N95 masks are available at our info tent.

The parade is proceeding.

Private vendors (Ribfest, Midway, some activities and sellers) will be open.

At the time of typing this, Sault Ste. Marie is a 3 on the AQHI. Please see openings listed below.

Parade Update: based on the current and improved conditions (low risk) the Rotary Community Day Parade presented by Brookfield Renewable is scheduled to proceed tomorrow.

Thank you thank you thank you for your patience. Our 9am/10am update below.

RE: Food Court - All volunteer shifts for volunteers under 18 are cancelled, volunteers must evaluate the Environment Canada guidelines and confirm that they are not a person at risk, all volunteers must wear a provided N95 mask for the duration of their shift, if air quality worsens at Clergue Park shifts will be cancelled, volunteers are not obliged to attend shifts or complete shifts.

RE: Stage 1 presented by OLG - at this time we are planning to move forward, if air quality in Clergue Park deteriorates there will be cancellations. We will be assessing throughout the day (as opposed to making a call at noon). Please be patient as there may be gaps in programming as no band is obliged to perform and may make the independent decision to stay home.
