Thanks everyone for making last night’s game one of the best ones in the last 12 months.

Like I announced, I will be leaving the Sault in the next couple weeks but I hope that I’ll still be able to hold a regular game. Keep your eyes peeled for the next event invite.

It's always been my goal for my games to be relaxed, casual and fun for everyone. With that in mind I'll be introducing a couple new rules in an attempt address some issues that we've had in the past. (I just want everyone to be aware in advance of this sunday's game)

1. I'll be implementing a 500 bb total buy-in cap. It doesn't matter how many times you buy in or if you top up, your total amount spent at the game won't be allowed to go over 500 big blinds. Sometimes it's just not your night.

2. I want to make sure that everyone is paid out in full when they leave the table. To make sure this happens, any etransfers for buy-ins would need to be arranged in advance so that I can make sure I have cash on hand; if needed. Any etransfers for buy-ins will have to be sent and confirmed before players receive their chips.

3. No straddles, for the first 4 hours of the game. If I wanted to spread a 1/2 game, I'd spread a 1/2 game. After the first 4 hours straddles will be allowed with all the standard rules. During the first 4 hours blind raises will be strongly discouraged. If people want to raise, they can raise but if it's clear that the intent is to bypass the "no straddling" rule it won't be allowed.
