Studio Dance Arts was founded in 2003 by Sault Ste. After an incredible professional career that took him from the prestigious halls of The Juilliard School in NYC to performing on the world's biggest stages with legends like Michael Jackson and Gloria Estefan, Richard returned home with a singular mission: to build a world-class dance institution for the next generation of local artists. He founded SDA at a time when other local studios were closing, creating a home for displaced dancers and continuing the legacy of dance in our community.
