DS Varsity (“Move Your Body”) with an epic end to their competitive season !! 🤩🥳💥 Following a last minute decision to do a completely different routine, the crew stepped up and delivered big energy and style! Earning 1st in their category plus an adjudicators choice award by the one and only ! 🤯 What an honour! Resssspect!!

Alpha Kids (AK) is a collective of breakers from SK established in 2012 that had a focus on battling and performing. Alpha Kids has been competing, battling, performing and organizing local jams such as Rock For Your Life, Lock Down, Game Theory, Kapwa Jam and many more. Kirsten Sarmiento aka Monday, Karl Signo aka Signs, Simon Truong aka MyDay Woo, and BJ Trinidad aka Fuse will be collaborating with def sol for a dope performance tonight. The Thundercats are a versatile rap crew combining live hip hop with melody to bring meaningful stories to life. Through unique perspectives their tracks speak to the elements of community, life’s ups and downs, healing and the superpower of hip hop. These MCs deliver a high energy performance and share truths with the audience; while leaving them inspired about the ways we can come together. Featuring the lyrical talents of: Big Tones, Happy Jamaly, Rowan Mansell, RUGA.PIE, Stella Grace and ZHE the Free.

ZHE the Free is a versatile artist, explosive performer and community builder. Growing up on Treaty 7 Land, she extends her fire from mountains to prairies. ZHE delivers poetic hip hop and ignites the crowd from the moment she touches the microphone. Fun, uplifting and powerful; ZHE creates a celebratory vibe through storytelling, intentional lyricism and freestyle skills. As an award-winning hip hop artist, accomplished voice actress and infectious live performer, ZHE brings the strength of the feminine alive. She is a captivating public speaker and has a successful TEDx Talk, as well as presentations at conferences, summits and multiple artist tours. As the National Music Centre’s 1st place winner in the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop track competition, ZHE pulls you in with her strong command of words. She is an experienced Artist Mentor and was nominated for Music Professional of the Year at the 2025 Saskatchewan Music Awards. Hip hop saved her life, and she loves inspiring others about the power of their voice and to use creativity as a positive outlet. She is the founder of Cypher Club YYC and a co-founder of Circle Made Artist Society. ZHE has performed on various stages and at many festivals; connecting with audiences on a deep level through her engaging stage presence and the realness she brings in exploring emotions and addressing social issues. Based in Saskatoon, Snakeman has been a fixture in the local hip hop scene since starting dance in 2004. Known for high-energy sets and a loud, unapologetic presence, he brings the same passion behind the decks as he does on the dance floor- always pushing the vibe and showing love to the people around him. Whether teaching, performing, or DJing, Snakeman represents the culture with consistency and pride.
