The Broadway Community Table returns on Saturday, September 26, and this month you can also join us for a community cooking class!

During the cooking class, we’ll be making:
🥕 Root Vegetable Tarte Tatin
🎃 Mild Red Kuri Squash Curry with Chard

No special cooking experience is needed; just come ready to learn, cook and spend some time together.

Later, we’ll gather for the Broadway Community Table, a welcoming community meal and a chance to sit down, connect with neighbours and share some time around the table.

You’re welcome to join us for the cooking class, the Community Table, or both.

Broadway Street Fair is FREE to attend, and that doesn’t happen without a whole lot of community support.

On Saturday, September 12, we’ll welcome thousands of people to Broadway Avenue for the 43rd Annual Broadway Street Fair presented by BHP, with vendors, Broadway merchants, food trucks, live entertainment, family activities, arts and culture, and plenty to discover from one end of the district to the other.

Keeping Street Fair free and accessible to everyone takes a community, and we are incredibly grateful to the businesses and organizations helping us make it happen in 2026.

The 43rd Annual Broadway Street Fair presented by BHP stretches throughout the Broadway District, and some of our favourite things are the ones you stumble across while you’re wandering.

This is going to take some wandering. 👀🛍️🎨

One of the best parts of the 43rd Annual Broadway Street Fair presented by BHP is never quite knowing what you’re going to discover as you make your way down Broadway Avenue.

This year, we’re welcoming over 170 vendors and organizations to Street Fair! You’ll find handmade goods, pottery, jewelry, art, books, clothing, vintage finds, candles, beadwork, 3D printing, Indigenous makers, community organizations, local services and plenty of things that are a little harder to put into a category, which is part of the fun.

Come meet the people behind the tables, discover a new favourite maker, learn about organizations doing good work in our community and maybe bring home something you weren’t expecting to find.

And this is just one part of Street Fair. Add in our Broadway merchants, food trucks and food vendors, stages, performers, Curiosity Corner, activities and more, and there will be plenty to explore from one end of the district to the other.

Six performers. Six hours of live music. One little stage with a whole lot of Broadway energy. 🎶

The Little Stone Stage, powered by Affinity Credit Union, is back for the 43rd Annual Broadway Street Fair presented by BHP!

Tucked into the heart of the district, the Little Stone Stage is one of our favourite places to catch live music during Street Fair. Grab something to eat, take a break from shopping, find a spot nearby and spend some time with this year’s lineup:

The Main Stage is bringing music, dance, culture and community to Broadway Street Fair presented by BHP! 🎶💃🎭

From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Main Stage, powered by Affinity Credit Union, will feature a lineup that reflects so much of what Broadway Street Fair is about: creativity, culture, community and having a little fun together!

Here’s what’s happening:

🎭 11:00 AM — Wigged Out YXE
💃 12:00 PM — Dance Egypt Dance Club
🌎 1:00 PM — Saskatoon International Folkdance Club
🧡 2:00 PM — Wanuskewin Collective
🎷 3:00 PM — Jazz Me Club

And this year, one of those performances is helping us do a little more.

In partnership with Wigged Out YXE, we’ll have a donation box at the Broadway BID booth during Street Fair, with 100% of donations going to Chokecherry Studios, a Saskatoon non-profit creating opportunities for youth through arts-based programming and mentorship.

So find a spot by the stage, cheer loudly, maybe learn a new dance, and enjoy an afternoon of performances right in the middle of the Broadway District!
