We wrapped up on Sunday a one of a kind show. It was a story that needed to be told and this would not have been possible without the wonderful audience that came to support us and gave is heartfelt reviews, the artists community and community members who gave us a hand during the production.

The Newcomer is a story about resilience. While in Uganda, Juba and his family lived in a refugee camp for twelve years. When he was seventeen, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) recruited him and his family to live in Saskatoon. Here, he had to overcome many obstacles to achieve one of his biggest dreams: attending university.
This comedic coming-of-age story delves into the struggles many young, new Canadians face when first arriving.
