Regretfully, the Salon team has canceled the Salon featuring ursidae and Cain Price. This is an outcome we did our best to avoid for the sake of our artists, but has become unavoidable for the sake of the health of all.

We with everyone health and safety during this trying time. Please consider supporting your artists, as this has been an especially difficult time with shows and whole tours being canceled. Purchasing albums, merchandise, and donations can make a huge difference while artists wait to see when their next show will be.

I create gentle and emotional piano improvisations and compositions in my Saskatoon-based home studio that I make available to listeners on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. I have a growing library of pensive piano recordings on a felted vintage upright piano that pairs well with rum, newborns, and insomniacs. . . " ⁣⁣

Last night was the last Salon Session of 2019 and it was a night fully encapsulated the spirit of this initiative that is so much more than a house concert. It is was community, it was music, it was healing, it was homemade apple cider, it was joy, it was Christmas, it was re-creation, it was the best jazz vocals Saskatoon has ever heard.
