A liminal amount of comedy guaranteed to creep you out! The Saskatoon Soaps take on the eerie world of The Backrooms in a completely improvised parody where nothing is scripted and anything can happen. Trapped in an endless maze of fluorescent-lit rooms, strange encounters, and bizarre twists, our performers will build the story live—guided by your suggestions

The kids are alright! Tommy Douglas Improv Troupe “Skits and Giggles” did an amazing job on stage with the Soaps last night! Now they are off to Ottawa to represent the province at the National Improv Olympic! But the cannot get there without your help. A truly magical evening in the Soaps history. We’re very proud to have shared the stage with the incomparable Catherine O’Hara. In January of 1993, the Saskatoon Soaps hosted the magical Catherine O'Hara. A week after she had hosted Saturday Night Live, she jumped onto The Broadway Theatre stage and captivated a packed house on a bitterly cold evening.

"Catherine O'Hara was a total gem. She was warm, friendly, kind and patient. She was so easy going and up for whatever we threw at her. And, of course, she was hilarious." - Blaine Hart
