End of summer means Back to School for the kiddos (parents rejoice!), Labour Day weekend (cheers to our Riders!), and the start of another RMO season!

We’re so glad we were able to get together for our first orchestra rehearsal before the thunderstorms rolled in and kept us indoors — and maybe even inspired us to practice!? 🤗

You’ll notice a new face leading our orchestra this year! We’re excited to welcome Ryan Wheler as conductor for our 2026–27 season. We can’t wait to see where this new musical journey takes us and experience the energy he brings to our group!

Our popular Beginner Player Program is in full swing. Our Beginner Player Program Scholarship is available for beginner students who live in Saskatchewan and offers up to $400 of funding for private lessons.

While youth is our priority, this opportunity is open to anyone who has never played an orchestral instrument.
