With her trusty waterproof book in hand, “Maren the Mermaid” has been delivered to her new home, where she can spend her days reading to all the magical sea creatures.

One of my favourite things about creating this piece was knowing it would add a touch of magic to a little girl’s days. This weekend, I got to see it for a moment, the little sparkle in her eyes when her mermaid was finally in her hands.

Turns out, a bit of that magic made its way back to me too. There’s nothing quite like sharing a bit of whimsy and magic with the world.
