SINGER SHOUT OUT!! 🎉🎵🎤

Zoey came in for her first lesson in January 2026. She was pretty shy and even passed on her first opportunity for a spotlight solo in our Emerging Voices class.

Through the next few months, her skills and confidence grew and she started to sing independently. In June, she told me she was going to sing at Back to Batoche in their Batoche Idol competition.

Well folks, Zoey chose Can’t Catch Me Now by Olivia Rodrigo and sang the socks off of it!!! She even earned herself a second place finish at the Batoche Idol competition.

Zoey, you have worked so hard and become so brave!! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what you do next!

That’s a wrap!!!
Our 2025/2026 Studio was one for the memory books. Five amazing studio performance events kept the singers motivated and goal-focused all year long.

The bar was HIGH, pals, and our singers rose to the occasion every single time.

I can’t wait to share some more highlights from the year through the summer!

Because laughter is the best medicine 😂😂😂

We always have a lot of fun in our Rising Voices class, and we are often laughing between the singing. Over the past year, we have built such a fun, supportive learning community.

And in case you’re wondering… I LOVE my students!!

Today was rehearsal day!!!

That’s right, these voice students got a chance to get up on stage with the band for the first time today and OHHHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS…. It sounds INCREDIBLE!!

Music Mindfully Studio singers Izzy and Paige took the Saskatchewan Music Festival Provincials stage this past weekend, advancing from the regional competitions. They both performed gloriously in their musical theatre classes, and Izzy won a Joy Award for her strong character choices.

So proud of you both!!! Such strong performances at this high-level competition. Well done!!

WHAT A NIGHT. ✨
Rising Voices absolutely delivered this weekend and I am one proud teacher.

These girls have shown up every single week for 90 minutes of class, plus their weekly voice lessons. Master classes, mindset work, skill-building and rehearsals. And all of that led to this - a house concert that was entirely theirs. They chose every piece, designed the programs, set up the space, and yes - they even choreographed their own duets.

Musical theatre duets, solos, and a beautiful ensemble piece to close out the concert - it was so special ❤️

What a gift to watch these talented, dedicated singers come into their own.

To my Rising Voices girls — I am so proud of each one of you. Congratulations! 💐🤩

Now, we get ready to perform with a live band for our final showcase in June!!! 🎤🎸🥁🎹

🎭 Rising Voices Presents: Broadway and Beyond
A house concert - planned, designed, and performed entirely by our teenage singers.

Songs? They chose them. Staging? They blocked it. Programs? Designed by them. Tech & setup? All theirs.

This is what it looks like when young artists take full ownership of their craft, and we couldn’t be more proud.

House concerts like this one are just one of the exclusive perks of being a Rising Voices member. Beyond their weekly lessons, Rising Voices students gather every Monday for a 90-minute deep-dive into music, mindset, and ensemble singing - and moments like this are what it all builds toward.

✨ Rising Voices is Saskatoon’s high-level vocal training program for committed teen singers. Spots for next season are coming up — and we’d love to have your singer be part of it.
