Lightofalotus Lightofalotus is an emerging multimedia artist living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

She began painting in 2012 with non representational abstracts and slowly gravitated toward more representational, feminine, and whimsical works.

One month post residency. Was an amazing experience . Looking back on the final show I am so grateful I was able to she some little pieces of me in these installations. The safe space (computer installation) got a lot of positive feedback as well as the cyanotype. Don’t worry I’m still working on the patch assembly, it’s a little slow going. I have been taking a break to relax and refocus as well as catching up on some ceramics.

Celestial memories - I made this installation for the end of Exit through the woodshop with . I wanted to feature a whimsygoth inspired installation at the end. Suggested and inspired by my friend who collaborated with me on the sick UFO piece.

This installation featured new things to me I learned in the residency like, laser cutting, woodworking, and the lathe as well as a well loved art medium of mine, ceramics. I’m really happy with how it turned out. And grateful to been able to have such cool displays for this show.
