☾Meet one of the cosplay judges!☾

We’re excited to welcome back NamisWifeey as one of our Anime After Dark cosplay judges!

After joining us as a cosplay judge last year, we are thrilled to have NamisWifeey return for another year of Anime After Dark! We loved her dedication and enthusiasm for cosplay and can’t wait to see her bring that same excitement to this year’s competition! ❤️‍🔥✨

☾Get to know NamisWifeey:
NamisWifeey has been cosplaying since 2012. What began with modifying a thrifted blazer at her grandmother’s dining table, turned into a love for creating costumes for years onward. She has won three craftsmanship awards at local conventions and hopes to bring some of the excitement of participation to the Anime After Dark Crowd. She has a love-hate relationship with all aspects of costume creation, but once it’s all said and done, nothing makes her happier than prancing around as her favourite characters. She looks forward to seeing everyone dressing as characters that makes them happy!

We’re excited to welcome Deer Lord Cosplay as one of our Anime After Dark cosplay judges!

As one of the winners of last year’s Anime After Dark Cosplay competition, Deer Lord Cosplay knows firsthand what it takes to bring cosplay to life! We’re thrilled to have them return this year, but this time from the other side of the judging table 👀

✦Get to know Deer Lord Cosplay:
Deer Lord Cosplay is a journeyman level cosplayer from Saskatoon who’s been making cosplays for 7 years and competing for just over a year. Her main areas of expertise are sewing & painting, but she’s also had experience with foam prop making, 3D printed prop finishing, and wig styling. She’s had the pleasure of working alongside and sharing the stage with lots of talented cosplayers all across the Prairies, and she’s excited to bring what she’s learned to judging the cosplay contest!

Miroh is making their official solo debut at Anime After Dark 2026! From teaching at the only kpop dance studio in Saskatchewan, to representing Sask on the biggest kpop and hip hop dance stages in Canada, their passion has always been performing and entertaining the masses. Witness their power on stage as the dancing opener for Anime After Dark, and follow along with their idol journey as they continue to improve and grow!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Hiroshima and Nagasaki Peace Day event this weekend. We are so grateful to everyone who came out, participated in our activities, listened to our speakers, and shared this meaningful day with us.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers, guest speakers, performers, and everyone who helped make the event possible. Your time, support, and kindness mean so much to us. ❤️

It was truly meaningful to come together as a community to remember, reflect, and share a message of peace and hope for the future.
