Theme: Future

In 2026, Nuit Blanche Saskatoon invites artists to imagine and create from the perspective of the future. We welcome visual art, performance, interactive installations, community engagement, sound, and film that explore what lies ahead through your unique lens.

Consider how today’s choices shape tomorrow. Speak from the future: What would you change now to build a brighter world?

We encourage bold, diverse visions—including traditional sci‑fi—embracing Asian Futurism, Afro‑Futurism, Indigenous Futurism, LGBTQ2S+ Futures, and more. Engage with themes such as environment, agriculture, culture, economy, engineering, and artificial intelligence.

Strong applications should encourage public interaction, engage viewers, transform public spaces, be fun, and/or share unique perspectives. Projects should incorporate light, sound, and spectacle as this is a night-time event.

Learn more about this year's call, submission guidelines, and review our application form by visiting NBYXE.ca.

We're still in a daze by how many people came out for Nuit Blanche this past Saturday!

NBYXE just wouldn't be possible without the support of some amazing businesses and organizations who share our values of building community through the power of art.

Nuit Blanche Saskatoon is deeply grateful to all of the sponsors, community partners, and Friends of Nuit that helped build our festival in 2025.

With the support of these organizations NBYXE is able to showcase over 50 established and emerging artists and performance groups, we activate our City's streets, and we help build stronger connections within our community.

Thanks for making this a Nuit to remember!

It all starts tonight with Nuit Blanche Eve!

Nuit Blanche Eve is a celebration of emerging artists in our community. This year's NB Eve takes place Friday, September 19th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Gather Local Market (414 Avenue B South).

This Nuit Blanche Eve we present Dispersion—Immersion, a celebration of Saskatoon’s next wave in digital media art.

This exhibition, curated by USask Prof. Lisa Birke, is a survey of up-and-coming talent in digital media art in Saskatoon. It presents multi-media installations, animation, sound, video works and augmented reality projects created by students from the Digital and Integrated Practice (DIP) program in the School for the Arts at the University of Saskatchewan. A multiplicity of perspectives focuses on notions of identity, performance, societal expectations, mass media, and consumerism, all while navigating presentation through a variety of screens and augmented possibilities.

Learn more about the artists featured at NB Eve by visiting NBYXE.ca

*If you can't make it to Nuit Blanche Eve tonight, Dispersion—Immersion at Gather Local Market will be a part of our main festival night. you can view these artists work on Saturday, September 20th from 7PM until midnight at Gather Local Market.
