Just delivered this one to my son who lives with his family in New Zealand. He wanted a painting from home; SK prairie river hills where he has ridden horses, hiked, and picnicked. 20x20 inches, acrylic on canvas.

Just finished. I learned to drive in this vehicle. 1951 Mercury 1 ton, flat head V8 with 4 speed manual stick shift on the floor. Double clutching was tricky! A hoist on the box was added in the early ‘60s.
A unique feature is the dent on the back when a front end loader was accidentally dropped on it.
This truck still drives today. Lots of memories here. ❤️

Just finished this portrait, with permission, from a photo. I thought there was such character in this lovely face. Portraits are not in my comfort zone, but I consider all subjects good practice.

Just finished this one. “Vauvert Villa” inspired by my grandmother’s childhood home on Guernsey Island. Of course I never saw their gardens so this is not a representation, but I enjoyed making it up.

A slice of granite and a horse shoe, a request from a niece. A collaborative art piece I did with my brother George who cuts and prepares the stone and then I added the painting.
This piece is 1and1/2 inches thick, 11 inches in diameter and weighs out at 12.2 pounds. It is clear coated for indoors or out.

Had a request for Sunflowers. Thought I’d throw in the Prairie Lillies……just because. 16x16 inches When is a painting done?? I went at this one again since posting and changed the lillies, added the dragonfly. What do you think?

Just finished this beauty! Something very different for me. A challenge, but the customer was pleased!
I was working from a photo so had to do some research to complete the accessories and angles.
Some shadow on the picture there, but think you can get the idea.
