Alright- now that everyone else has gotten the obligatory first day of Pride Month posts out of the way, I’ve got something to say.

Tomorrow, Thursday, will mark one year of my wife having come out via HBB social media. 🫶

I am so endlessly & abundantly proud of my wife 🏳️‍⚧️

It hasn’t been easy, and life has been unkind in a lot of ways to my human, and she still shows up as one of the kindest & most tender hearted people I know. 💗

I am beyond proud of the mental, emotional, & spiritual work my wife has put into herself so she can show up as the person she is today. ✨

I am exceptionally proud of her dedication to never stop growing, no matter the mud & s**t she has to grow through. 👏

And I will also always be thankful for the first women to take a stand 57 years ago at the Stonewall Inn- because without trans women, there would be no Pride. 🏳️‍⚧️

Happy Pride Month folks, & thanks for being a really great community to my wife & I 🏳️‍🌈

Why am I such a loud mouth when it comes to using generative AI for your business? 🗣️

Because using gen AI shows me you’re allergic to work.

Tough truth time: you’re never going to make your small business experience long term, sustainable success if you’re not willing to put the work into something as simple as creating your own social media content.

Why do I feel this way?

Because I’m 100% self taught. I had an iPad & a dream. I put myself to work, and put countless hours into this. I can’t remember the last time I had a day off where I got to fully disconnect.

And I love it. Because this is my dream. You can tell that’s the truth when you look at my work.

The same way you can tell how careless someone is with their business presence when they slap up slop for us to all gawk at.

Slop so bad that you can’t even tell what the brand messaging is.

I’m 100% self taught, and 0% generative AI, and if I could do it, you can too.

If all the very many, very important arguments that are made by so many people everyday as to why gen AI is so dangerous isn’t enough to sway you, maybe knowing you entirely lose my respect & the respect of your community will.
