Jeff lives on the west coast of Canada,and has been turning wood for over forty years. Jeff has had his artwork showcased in different art shows in Western Canada, including the Calgary Stampede, where he won first place five years in a row. He has also won the first place ribbon at many of the local art shows on Vancouver Island and the surrounding Gulf Islands. Jeff uses local woods including Bi
g Leaf Maple Burl, and Walnut, as well as exotic woods from around the world. This collection includes: Lignum Vitae from Australia, Ebony from Africa, Zebra Wood from Centeral America, Desert Iron Wood from USA, Wych Elm form Europe, Camphor Wood from Asia, and Tagua Nut aka Vegitarian Ivory from South America.
