Trying my hand at collage.
Using ripped pieces from a magazine I have bought multiple times as gifts. Sacrificing my own copy for art, the way memories help you create something new. (I hope not to offend 🖤)
Beautiful textures and coastal colors shown in the photography of woven fabric, foliage,
and a line that jumped out for me in typeface.
Creating the beginning of the scene that would later emerge through layers of acrylic and oil.
A persistent wind in her hair, weighing a decision. Deep in thought.
Gazing at nothing in the hazy distance, as I often do.
