A little behind-the-scenes at Off the Hook today! 🧶✂️

It's not all yarn, hooks, and adorable plushies around here! 😂

Today's project? Cutting out my newly designed price tags!

I've been wanting to make reusable tags for my market displays, and now that I finally have a printer, I can start putting some of those little ideas into action. 💕

It's the small details that help bring everything together!

🧶 When a crochet problem gets a crochet solution…

I’ve seen other crochet vendors using little baskets and bins from the dollar store to keep similar items together on their tables, and I kept thinking… that’s actually a really good idea.

It would keep everything a little more organized, stop me from having the same or similar items spread all over the table, AND give me some extra display space.

But then I thought… why buy baskets when I can just crochet them? 😂

So here we are!

I’m really happy with how these turned out, and I can definitely see them becoming a permanent part of my market setup. And who knows — I might just have to make a few extras to put up for sale too! 👀🧺

Because apparently the answer to needing more organization for my crochet is… more crochet. 🧶😂

🕷️ Remember my ridiculously early start to market day?

Well… I FINALLY finished what I was working on! 😂

Turns out my early-morning project needed a lot more yarn than I thought. I ran out partway through, had to make a yarn run, and now he’s finally complete!

And for someone who does NOT like spiders, I have to admit… this one is pretty darn cute. 😂🕷️

Apparently the secret to making a spider acceptable is to make it out of yarn, give it a squishy body, and make it WAY bigger than any spider has the right to be. 👀

Real spider in my house? Absolutely not.
Giant crochet spider? Apparently, yes. 😂

Put up another shelf and finally started getting some of my yarn organized!

Is it completely organized? Absolutely not. 😂
Is this all of my yarn? Also absolutely not.

But hey… it’s a start!

At this point, Off the Hook is slowly turning into its own miniature yarn warehouse. 😂🧶

But I prefer to call it inventory rather than a yarn obsession. 👀

Because obviously I need all these colours… and probably a few more. 🤷‍♀️😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks “but I don’t have THAT shade” is a perfectly valid reason to buy more yarn. 🧶💕 #🧶💕

Well… I finally got them put together and I am OBSESSED with how they turned out! 🧶🎃
Introducing my newest Off the Hook keychains — a mix of tiny crochet creations, fun beads and spooky little charms! 🦇👻🕷️

Each one is put together individually, with its own combination of beads, charms and crochet friend, so they're all a little different. 🖤

These little guys will officially make their debut at the Canoe Summer Nights Market at Canooligans on September 25!
