Hello friends. The Columbia Basin Culture Tour is coming up soon, on Saturday & Sunday, Aug 8-9 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is self-directed and free of charge. John and I have recently added new photos, paintings and framed prints to our display at the Artisan Marketplace in the Woodland Hillside Store, in Trail, located at 1148 Bay Ave (beside the A&W). We invite you to come down and see all the beautiful artwork made by our fellow artisans: original paintings, artcards, pottery, pine needle weaving, stone carvings, metal work and hand made toys and the wonderful variety of wood products made from recycled wood.

We will be on site, at the store, on Saturday, Aug 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. I will be doing a demo painting art cards during this time. If you are curious about the process, please stop by and check it out! We look forward to seeing you there and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Just a reminder that Today is the Day for ArtVenture - Salmo's 2nd annual Art Show and Competition. There will be FREE catered food and drinks served and live local music talent. Happy New Year 2026 to everyone. It's been a fun and interesting year full of pleasant surprises. I have had the pleasure of having 3 pieces of my Art selected for display at the Nelson Senior Centre from September to December 2025. Time for me to get back to work and create some new pieces to put out there in 2026.
