🪅✨ This is how we experienced our incredible Community Piñata Workshop! ✨🪅
This Sunday, December 14, 2025, we filled our space with memories, laughter, and creativity during the first session of the piñata workshop, an initiative promoted by the (IMME) Instituto de Mexicanas y Mexicanos en el Exterior SRE and the Consulmex Montreal . We are truly honored to serve as the bridge that brings this call to our community, allowing us to share, celebrate, and preserve our Mexican traditions together, even far from home. The magic of this workshop was not only in the art of making piñatas, but also in the coming together of Mexican, Canadian, and international families, joining to learn, share stories, and strengthen bonds. Seeing children and adults working side by side, choosing their favorite balloons and shapes, and helping each other filled us with pride and hope.
From Arrow Amor in partnership with Salisbury Arts and Culture Centre (SACC) and Gaxiola Mexican Restaurant, Somos México - Atlantic Canada, D’KorArte, Vida Atlantic , and Salisbury Farmers and Artisans Market, we firmly believe that art and culture are powerful tools to unite people, celebrate our identity, and build community.
As organizers and facilitators, our role is to open doors, create safe and joyful spaces where everyone can express themselves and feel they belong. We are deeply grateful to IMME and the Consulate for trusting us to bring this special tradition to New Brunswick, and to all the families and organizations who joined and participated with such enthusiasm. And this is just the beginning!
Next Wednesday we will hold the second session of the workshop, and we continue to invite more families to join, learn, and enjoy this unique experience.
