✨Save the dates ✨The 2026 Saint John Contemporary Dance Festival takes place from July 18th -23rd in various locations across uptown Saint John. Watch this space for more details about workshops for all levels of experience, site-specific performances, the Happy Hour Cabaret Social, and more!

✨Our call for submissions is still live! ✨The Saint John Contemporary Dance Festival is accepting applications from professional dance artists for its 16th edition, taking place July 18-23, 2026, in Saint John, New Brunswick.

We are accepting applications for Site-specific performances (15 minutes in length) and the Happy Hour Cabaret (5 minutes in length). Artists can apply as soloists or in groups, with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor performances.

While we prioritize submissions from artists in the Atlantic provinces, we welcome applications from across all Canadian provinces. Artists will be paid a performance fee. Travel and accommodation are the artist’s responsibility, but a letter of invitation will be provided, and we’re happy to assist with finding local billets.
