Sanctuary Theatre

Sanctuary Theatre The Sanctuary Theatre is a flexible seating performing arts venue that shares its facilities with the InterAction School of Performing Arts.

A gem in the heart of Uptown Saint John. The Sanctuary Theatre sits nestled among the brownstones and historic churches of Canada's Original City. A former church, now owned by the region's largest Performing Arts School, the Sanctuary is what Saint John wants and needs: a small, intimate venue for live music concerts, theatre, dance, community gatherings, and more. In operation since mid 2011, The Sanctuary Theatre has already hosted many arts and cultural happenings, including:

InterAction coffee houses (monthly)
Connection Dance Works Perspectives (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012)
Arts Connect performances
The Butterfly Project (Spring 2012)
National Youth in Arts Week (Spring 2012)
Rose Cousins: We have made a Spark national tour (Spring 2012)
The Penny Blacks (summer 2011)
Saint John Community Arts Board Mixer (Winter 2011)
