Sanctuary Theatre The Sanctuary Theatre is a flexible seating performing arts venue that shares its facilities with the InterAction School of Performing Arts.

A gem in the heart of Uptown Saint John. The Sanctuary Theatre sits nestled among the brownstones and historic churches of Canada's Original City. A former church, now owned by the region's largest Performing Arts School, the Sanctuary is what Saint John wants and needs: a small, intimate venue for live music concerts, theatre, dance, community gatherings, and more. Three big shows coming up at the Sanctuary Theatre this month! Tickets available at the Imperial Theatre box office, or at the door (depending on availability)!

WWII Radio Christmas
Saturday December 7 – 1pm and 7:30pm

An intergenerational performance that features the music of Port City Five, this moving holiday show recreates the experience of attending a recording of a 1940s radio show broadcast on Christmas Eve during World War II. Using period songs and stories inspired by actual veterans, World War II Radio Christmas transports the audience to another time, brought to you by such generous sponsors as Vaseline Hair Tonic and Ipana Toothpaste. An inspiring look at strength in the face of hardship, this play is a reminder of the importance of coming together for the holidays.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors/students/veterans.

Juno nominees Fortunate Ones return to Saint John with a holiday show for the whole family. Catch this Newfoundland based duo at the Sanctuary Theatre December 18th at 8PM. Special guest Dylan Menzie opens the show.

Great stuff happening here all week for Fundy Fringe Festival! Watch this space - you might see someone you know!

JETPACK SUPERHEROES (USA) - An hour-long concert of the quirkiest, catchiest, and honest-iest love songs ever written. This show is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, because no one else would put this much effort into learning instruments only to create this level of foolishness. Imagine Flight of the Conchords, Ed Sheeran, and The Muppets rolled into a two-man band.
