At Sea Belles, we are all about the magic of barbershop music. Our mission is to work hard and have FUN while we do it!
🏆 Competition Excellence: We're passionate about refining our skills, and we're proud to compete annually at the Area 1 Contest and Convention in Sackville, NB.
🌟 Community Performances: Beyond our annual competition, we take the stage to share our love for music with the community. Our performances are not just about singing; they're about spreading joy and connection.
🧡 Fun and Friendship: We love to have a good time! We regularly have social events to stay connected.

📅 Rehearsal Schedule 📅
We rehearse every Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Portland United Church, 50 Newport Crescent, Saint John. Practices run from September to June each year. Our dynamic rehearsals are the heart of Sea Belles, where we perfect our vocal skills and have a ton of fun!

🤝 Who Can Join? 🤝
Women and non-binary individuals are welcome to join! You must be at least 14 years old and able to carry a tune. Whether you're an experienced singer or just looking to explore your vocal talents, the Sea Belles have a place for you! Our diverse membership ranges from beginners to seasoned pros. We believe that every voice is unique and valuable!

Interested in checking out a rehearsal? Contact us at [email protected] or send us a message here. We'll send you all the details you need. When you come to your first rehearsal, you'll be greeted with open arms. There's nothing to be afraid of!

🎤 Do I have to Audition? 🎤
Worried about a voice test? Our voice assessment is simple and supportive, designed to help our director know where you fit on the risers. We're here to help you find your voice, improve your skills, and build your confidence. We're all about encouragement and growth. Established in 1969, Sea Belles was the first women's Barbershop chorus in Atlantic Canada. Today, we are still singing our hearts out each week! Get in touch to begin your adventure with us 🎵💃🏼🎉

Quispamsis would like to recognize the Sea Belles of Harmony, Inc. as they continue to bring warmth and joy to our community and our region through song.

The Sea Belles are hoping to add new members and more community performances in the coming months with help from a printed advertising brochure and other engagement efforts.

Quispamsis is supporting these plans with a contribution of $500 through the Community Investment Program.

Libby O'Hara- Mayor of Quispamsis presented the cheque to the Sea Belles in a recent ceremony.

On Friday, May 7 members of Sea Belles attended a presentation at the Town of Quispamsis. We had applied for and received a $500 grant which will be used for promotion. Thank you to Mayor O'Hara and Tim Roszell for presenting us with the cheque.

Sea Belles had their Mother's Day draw on Tuesday evening at rehearsal. Our winners were Michelle Saulnier and Peggy Imhoff.
