💜💚 And that’s a wrap 💚💜

This year was the most spectacular year of dancing, new friends, and community. From humble beginnings starting out with one adult class in 2022, to offering classes in three different dance styles, adding two amazing instructors, and continuing to build our dancer community, I still pinch myself wondering if this was all a dream.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Robyn, Emily, our dance families, and dancers for believing in Celtic Roots Dance Academy and choosing us for your or your child’s dance journey. Three-year-old me would be ecstatic to know that this dream came true, sharing my passion for Celtic dance and building up the next generation of dancers.

Celtic Roots Dance Academy brought joy in ways that I never thought possible. Seeing dancers start their journey as shy, quiet kids and flourish into their own, overcoming obstacles and working hard to achieve their goals; creating a space for adult dancers to come back to dance, or experience it for the very first time. Although everyone had their reasons for dance, it was truly magical to see everyone come together, create ever-lasting friendships, and build connections that will follow dancers through life.

After four fabulous years of dancing, laughing, creating lasting connections, and making memories, Celtic Roots Dance Academy is closing its doors. And while I don’t know what’s next, please know this is not a goodbye, it’s a see you later 💜

To celebrate the beautiful journey we all shared, we would love to look back on our favorite moments together.

We invite dancers, families, and community members to share their favourite memories and photos over the years in the comments below.
