SJ Chinese Qipao Association Qipao is the traditional costume of Chinese women in China and the world, known as the quintessence of China and the national costume of women.

Qipao was formed in the 1920s, and its origin can even be traced back to the Han Dynasty.

It’s a great honor to have this opportunity to promote traditional Chinese costume. Saint John Chinese Qipao Association attended the Fall Fashion Festival 2022, hosted by United Colours Of Fashion, at Imperial Theatre.

The culture infusion in Canada encourages people to show different cultures confidently, and connect with others closely. Connections are an important factor in human society, so we feel blessed to live in this community.

Qipao, also known as Cheongsam, is developed in 1920s for women, and popular from 1920s to 1940s in China. Now it is popular among people no differences in ages, ethnicities, and countries.
