What is Music Appreciation? 🎵
At 2PM every day, campers will participate in a rotation music games, which help deepen their knowledge by learning through play.

Games include:
👋 Music Bingo: Music Bingo is just like the classic game of bingo, but this time using fun and educational music terms

🎶 Conducting: Campers get to play an exciting game where they learn what it’s like to be a conductor in an orchestra, and even get to conduct their fellow campers through pieces that they play during camp.

🔢 Connections: A fun spin on the game made famous by the New York Times, now involving the SMC campers connecting musical terms into different categories.

📚 Jeopardy: A spin on the classic jeopardy game, now involving musical questions to help the campers learn though play

📖 MadLibs: Mad Libs is a fun word game where campers get to fill in the blanks with different types of words to create a silly and often hilarious musical story.

🎼 Music Toss: Music toss is a fun game where campers toss a beanie stuffy onto a grid of cards and answer the question found on the back card where it lands.

😵‍💫 Music Unscramble: Music unscramble is a word game where players rearrange a set of mixed-up letters to form the correct musical word

✍️ Pictionary: Pictionary is a drawing game where players sketch musical images while their teammates try to guess the correct word or phrase.

🏃 Rhythm Tag: Rhythm tag is a game of freeze tag where campers are only allowed to walk on certain beats of the song

👏 Rhythm Workshop: Rhythm workshop is an educational game of follow the leader where campers have to clap different rhythms, learning about different musical subdivisions.

↔️ This Or That: This or That is an exciting game where campers are presented with two opposing musical terms at different ends of the gym and have to run to which one they thing is correct based on the song they are listening to.
