We join the Canadian choral community in mourning the loss of composer Ruth Watson Henderson, whose music has inspired singers and audiences for generations.

We are especially grateful for her connection to Chorus Niagara through Voices of Niagara, a work commissioned by our organization and premiered on March 1, 2003. Her artistry helped tell our story through music, leaving a lasting mark on our choir and our community.

We extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who were touched by her remarkable legacy.

Thank you, Ruth, for the music. 💜

Toi Toi Toi to our artistic director, Kathleen Allan, and a handful of choristers, who are off to New York to participate in the New England Symphonic Ensemble, performing in Carnegie Hall on May 25th!

They will be singing excerpts from Cris Derksen's Mass for Nîpîy, works by Sherryl Sewepagaham, Brahms' Schicksalslied and more. We wish you all well!
