🐴 Great news for exhibitors! 🐴

We've added 13 NEW classes to the 2026 Saanich Fair Light Horse Show, creating even more opportunities for riders to step into the ring!

Whether you're entering your very first show or you're an experienced competitor, you'll find exciting new options - including beginner-friendly Walk/Trot classes, Road Hack, Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Rail, Ranch Riding and Trail Horse classes.

We're also pleased to welcome Judge Jim Cunningham for what promises to be an outstanding weekend of competition.

The 2024 light horse show at the Saanich Fair was a huge success! Thank you to all our volunteers and competitors who supported the show! We hope to make next year even better.

Who’s excited for the Hunter undersaddle division this weekend?
We’ve gone and added new a cross poles and 2’ Hunter under saddle jumping classes to this years program.

Big thank you to Vancouver Island Hunter Jumper Association (VIHJA) for the donation of the jumps this weekend. Without you we wouldn’t be able to put on the classes!

We look forward to see you all there this weekend. 🌟

We are 3 days away from the Saanich Fair! Be sure to get those last minute entries in!

The show office will only be open for select hours on the weekend which will be posted on the show office board with the patterns.

Be sure to come see us in the show office between 5-7pm on Friday night to get registered.

Our Purpose- Growing up showing at the Saanich fair horse show was something that my sister and I always looked forward too. Between getting to spend time with our horses, making new friends with similar interests, and interacting with the crowds, it was the perfect way to close out our summer vacation before heading back to school.
We look forward to see all returning and new competitors this year at the 2024 Saanich Fall Fair Light Horse Show 🌟

Our Purpose - Growing up, the Saanich Fall Fair was a highlight of my year. At 11, it was my first show, and it became a yearly tradition I highly anticipated. While winning ribbons was gratifying, the true significance lay in the lasting friendships and memories formed. The most memorable moments were spent camping with new friends and our ponies, and the invigorating experience of washing hair in icy water before dawn. I hope my students and fellow competitors will create similar memories and connections. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning competitors to the Saanich Fall Fair 2024. 🌟
