I’m going to be a vendor and it’ll be my first (but not last) movie & market night!
Come on out for some shopping and Footloose. I may abandon my booth in favour of the movie, who can resist baby Kevin Bacon and fighting back against puritanical fanaticism through dance?! 😜
Hope to see you there! 🕺🏼🖤
ORLEANSSSS!!!!
Our first Night Market & Movie Night is coming up on August 15th and we cannot wait to share this fun night with you!
Some details for the evening:
- The market will take place on the gravel pad at 290 Centrum Blvd.
- The movie will be set up on the courtyard between Taproom and Mexis.
- The market will run from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the market anytime during open hours. You do not have to attend the movie to be able to enjoy the market. We will have lots of vendors serving up delicious food and lots of tables set up. So come and spend the evening with us!
- We will have the Navan Boot Scootin' Line Dancers joining us from 7:00 - 8:30pm. They will be offering a FREE line dancing class, starting at 7, followed by just dancing!! So grab your cowboy boots and come ready for a good time!
- The Thirst Responders will be on site for the duration of the market serving up drinks. Please be mindful that drinks purchased from The Thirst Responders must be consumed on the gravel pad and cannot be brought over to the movie area.
- The movie will begin at approximately 9-9:15pm. We will wait until everyone is settled in and then get going. There will be no seating provided. You must bring your own chairs/cozies. Spots for the movie are first come/first served. There are no reservations on spots ahead of time. Please be respectful of if someone has claimed a spot with their chairs and then headed over to the market to not touch them. If chairs are too spaced out, the organizers of the market may push everyone a little closer together so we can all enjoy the movie.
- If you haven't guessed it yet, we will be playing FOOTLOOSE! The OG version with good ole Kevin Bacon! Blast from the past with one of the best! (We understand that this is not a kids movie. Since the sun sets so late this time of year, we decided to go with a 14+ movie and should we decide to do another one later on in the year, we will circle back to playing something for a younger crowd, so please refrain from commenting on what we have decided to play in a negative manner)
Hope to see you there!
