New signs posted at the rink due to damage to the fencing. Kindly remind your children that the fencing is not meant for climbing.

Thank you Altona Community Foundation for your generous support!

Here's to using the rink in the summer as well as the winter. Come out and enjoy some basketball, pickleball and street hockey!

On behalf of the Altona Community Foundation (ACF), the Thomas Sill Fund and the annual Thomas Sill Manitoba grant ACF president Haydon Friesen presents a $3,000 grant cheque to Paul Heppner of the Rosenfeld & District Skating Rink. Funds were used to purchase equipment for new summer activities being offered at Rosenfeld rink: basketballs and hoops, pickleball net and paddles, and street hockey nets and sticks.

For today’s needs and tomorrow’s dreams.

A few upgrades happening at the rink! The pathway between the building and rink just got leveled and new stone put in today! 🥳

Summer sports equipment is gradually making its way onto the cement surface: 2 free-standing basketball nets & basketballs ⛹🏻⛹🏼‍♀️🏀; 2 street hockey nets & sticks/balls 🥅🏒; and a pickleball net & paddles/balls!

Stay tuned as we work to get it all set up for the public to use.

A cold but fun day at the Rosenfeld Winter Carnival! From breakfast to horse-drawn sleigh rides, curling & broomball to lunch, a scavenger hunt to hockey, and LOTS of hot chocolate to warm up the insides, everyone seemed to enjoy the day! Thanks to all the volunteers for pulling this off! We couldn't do it without you. 🥶🥞☕️🥌🏒🌭
