The North Saskatchewan River Park in Rocky Mountain House will be home to Rhythm River Music Festival on August 21–22, 2026.

When we started planning this event, we wanted more than just a stage and a field. We wanted a place where families, friends, music lovers, campers, artists, and our community could come together for an unforgettable weekend.

With 30+ artists, multiple genres, camping, food vendors, family activities, and over 20 hours of live music, this beautiful venue gives us the space to build something truly special.

Every day we’re getting a little closer to showtime, and seeing it all come together is exciting.

At Rhythm River Music Festival, we’re building more than just a festival—we’re building a community.

Every sponsor, artist, volunteer, vendor, ticket holder, and supporter who joins us becomes part of something bigger.

I had the opportunity to spend some time with one of our amazing sponsors,Smokeiron, and it reminded me that great things are built one step at a time. The work never seems to end, but seeing this community come together makes every late night and early morning worth it.

Together, we’re creating something special for Rocky Mountain House and Central Alberta.

Just Asleep is a young indie rock band inspired by emo, shoegaze, and indie rock. With atmospheric sounds, honest songwriting, and a passion for creating meaningful music, they’re quickly building a name for themselves in Alberta’s independent music scene.

Their goal is simple: become one of Alberta’s biggest bands and reach a global audience through their music.
